Reese is 4 months old!

On May 31st Reese officially became 4 months old! We can't believe how fast the time has gone and it's hard to think of life pre-Reese. It is so fun to have her and continually watch her grow. She always makes me so happy and her smile just melts me. She especially likes to pull out her beaming smile when she's laid down in her crib for bed and knows that she has to go to sleep. It's so hard to resist just picking her up and cuddling her, but nonetheless we leave her. It's always sad and hard, but that's what good parents have to do, right!

Reese had her 4 month check up yesterday and everything went well. She's now 26 3/4 inches long (97%) and 13 pounds 2 ounces (48%). She's a long and lean little girl! She unfortunately had to get the dreaded shots and survived, but she sure showed the doctor what good little lungs she has. I hate getting shots and I know she does, too. Today she has a fever, but it's going down thank goodness. Her little body is a fighter!

She now can hold her head so high when on her belly. She is very ticklish and giggles so much! She's notorious for drool bombing anyone. She soaks her clothes with drool and gnaws on her fingers or anything else she can get in her mouth. She probably will be getting teeth soon at this rate! She loves staring at patterns and likes it when I read books to her. She really likes Touch and Feel Farm (thanks Sandi!). She kind of makes this hissing sound now and continues to blabber and tell us stories. And don't be fooled she is not fond of her binkster (pacifier). She'll only take it when she's tired and even then she either pops it out by blowing or pulls it out with her fingers and then puts her fingers in her mouth. She's a smart one!
